LNG fueling stations are classified as facilities handling hazardous chemicals and are designated as key units for safety and fire prevention efforts. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is the cryogenic liquid state of a hydrocarbon mixture derived from purified natural gas; it is physically characterized as being colorless, odorless, and non-toxic. When utilized as an automotive fuel, LNG typically contains a methane concentration exceeding 90%, along with trace amounts of ethane, propane, nitrogen, and other constituents. Under standard atmospheric pressure, LNG exhibits an extremely low boiling point-approximately -162°C-and possesses a liquid-to-gas expansion ratio of 600:1; its flammability range (by volume) falls between approximately 5% and 15%. To ensure the standardized operation of LNG fueling stations and to enhance the safety of vehicle refueling, we kindly request that all drivers strictly adhere to the relevant safety regulations and prohibitions, thereby safeguarding the interests of all parties involved. Therefore, drivers refueling at an LNG filling station must strictly observe the following safety regulations:
1. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the filling station premises.
2. Vehicles entering the station must slow down and proceed with caution, adhering to a speed limit of 5 km/h.
3. Vehicles entering to refuel are prohibited from bringing unauthorized personnel or passengers into the station; such individuals must disembark outside the station and are not permitted to remain inside the vehicle while it is being refueled.
4. During refueling, the vehicle engine must be switched off, all onboard electrical devices must be disabled, and reliable braking measures (such as engaging the handbrake) must be applied.
5. Vehicle maintenance is strictly prohibited within the station premises; should a vehicle experience a mechanical failure, it must be manually moved outside the station for repairs.
6. Drivers and non-specialized personnel are prohibited from operating the refueling equipment; furthermore, refueling is prohibited for any vehicle gas cylinders that present a safety hazard.
7. Personnel entering the station must not wear synthetic clothing or footwear with metal studs when approaching or entering areas designated as explosion hazards.
8. Vehicles and personnel present for refueling are prohibited from entering the station's production areas without explicit authorization.
9. Vehicles entering to refuel must comply with the instructions of the station operators, park in the designated area at a distance of at least 50 centimeters from the refueling island, and enter and exit the station zone as directed, strictly avoiding driving against the flow of traffic.
10. Refueling vehicles must not run over, pull, or bend the refueling hoses; personnel must not step on the hoses or subject them to any external physical force.
11. Vehicles seeking to refuel must possess a valid certificate of cylinder inspection/filling eligibility; otherwise, the station operator reserves the right to refuse service.
12. Upon completion of refueling, the vehicle engine may only be restarted after the hose pressure has been fully vented and the refueling nozzle has been safely disconnected.
13. For the safety of both yourself and the filling station, please refrain from parking your vehicle within the station premises for extended periods.
