Product Overview

 

This product is a skid-mounted L-CNG filling skid using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as the working medium. It is designed to convert LNG into CNG for CNG vehicle refueling. The unit adopts PLC + touch screen + soft starter control and supports fully automatic unattended operation, suitable for outdoor installation. It is widely used in CNG filling stations, bus depots, logistics parks, and other scenarios, achieving safe, efficient, and low‑cost natural gas refueling.

 

Process Flow Description

 

LNG from the LNG tanker enters the LNG storage tank via the unloading liquid phase line. It is pressurised by a plunger pump and sent to a high‑pressure vaporiser to be converted into high‑pressure CNG. The CNG gas is then distributed through a sequence control panel to the CNG storage cylinder bank or directly to the CNG dispenser for vehicle refueling. A booster vaporiser and a water bath heater are incorporated to safely raise the temperature of the cryogenic medium and prevent ice blockage.

LNG tanker → unloading liquid phase → LNG storage tank → L-CNG pump skid (plunger pump) → high‑pressure vaporiser → sequence control panel → CNG storage cylinders / CNG dispenser → CNG vehicle

Note: TYL-CNG-1 is a single‑pump configuration, TYL-CNG-2 is a dual‑pump configuration. Flow rate and vaporiser capacity scale linearly with the number of pumps.

Selection advice:

For daily refuelling below 2,000 Nm³ with limited budget, choose TYL-CNG-1 (1000 or 1500 flow option).

For peak‑hour rapid refuelling or uninterrupted operation, choose the dual‑pump TYL-CNG-2.

Q1: Does the skid require pre‑cooling?

A: Pre‑cooling of the pump is required before first start‑up or after long idle periods (approx. 5–10 minutes). The PLC executes an automatic pre‑cooling program.

Q2: How long does it take from LNG to CNG readiness?

A: Preheating + pre‑cooling + pressurisation to 25 MPa takes about 15–20 minutes (depending on ambient temperature).

Q3: What is the routine maintenance interval?

A: Plunger pump seals should be inspected every 2,000 hours. High‑pressure vaporiser fins should be cleaned once a year. PLC cabinet maintenance once a year.

Q4: Is the skid compatible with different brands of LNG tankers?

A: The unloading liquid phase connection is a standard DN50 flange or quick‑coupling, compatible with most domestic LNG tankers.

Q5: Can an external CNG storage cylinder bank be added?

A: Yes. The skid is provided with reserve ports on the sequence control panel for connecting an external CNG storage cylinder bank of any capacity.
