Detailed Process
Storage: LNG is stored in an external vacuum-insulated storage tank at approximately -162°C and low pressure (0.3-0.8 MPa)
Pumping: The submerged cryogenic pumps draw LNG from the storage tank and pressurize it to dispensing pressure (0.8-1.2 MPa)
Metering & Control: High-precision cryogenic flow meters measure the exact volume dispensed, while the PLC system controls pump speed via VFD
Dispensing: LNG flows through insulated hoses to the dispensing nozzles, where operators connect to vehicle receptacles
Vaporization: The temperature-increasing vaporizer uses ambient air heat to warm a portion of LNG, providing boil-off gas for tank pressure management
Safety: The EAG vaporizer handles emergency depressurization, safely converting LNG to gas before atmospheric release
