The skid-mounted gas supply terminal is a natural gas supply system designed to meet the monthly gas consumption needs of residential communities in towns, small and medium-sized industrial users, as well as large and medium-sized commercial buildings. All functional components, with the exception of the LNG storage tank, are integrated into the skid, resulting in a system that occupies less space, has a short manufacturing cycle, and is easy to install on-site. Products Features

This gasification, pressure regulation, and odorization unit consists of an air-temperature gasifier, a pressure regulation system, and an odorization and metering system. The air-temperature gasifier converts liquid LNG into gaseous form, and the pressure regulation system adjusts the pressure to around 0.4 MPa before sending the gas to urban or industrial gas distribution networks.

 

Safety Performance

 

1. Comprehensive Safety Valve Configuration:​ The system is equipped with a redundant safety architecture, featuring a dedicated low-temperature liquid-phase safety valve to manage overpressure in the liquid line, a gas-phase safety valve for vapor protection, and a supplementary safety vent valve. This multi-tiered setup ensures immediate pressure relief and prevents equipment damage under extreme operating conditions.
2. Cryogenic Emergency Shut-off (Liquid Phase):​ To mitigate the risk of leaks in the primary fluid path, the unit integrates a pneumatically or hydraulically actuated emergency shut-off valve (ESV) specifically designed for low-temperature liquid service. This valve can be triggered remotely or via local sensors to instantly halt the flow of cryogenic liquid during an emergency.
3. Gas-Phase Overpressure Protection:​ In addition to the liquid-phase controls, the system incorporates a specialized emergency shut-off valve for the gas phase. This device is engineered to activate automatically upon detecting overpressure in the vapor line, thereby safeguarding downstream equipment and maintaining system integrity.
4. Intrinsically Safe Electrical Integration:​ The entire skid features a certified static electricity grounding system to dissipate electrostatic charges safely. Furthermore, all field instrument wiring-including sensors, transmitters, and solenoids-is consolidated and terminated within robust, explosion-proof junction boxes. This design minimizes ignition risks and ensures compliance with hazardous location requirements.
5. Natural Gas Fired Water Bath Heater:​ To guarantee operational stability in frigid environments, the package includes an electric water bath heater fueled by natural gas. This system pre-heats the process medium, preventing freeze-ups and ensuring consistent pressure reduction and flow regulation even at sub-zero ambient temperatures.
6. Certified Explosion-Proof Design:​ The equipment has successfully passed rigorous national-level explosion-proof testing. It carries a certified explosion-proof rating of ExdⅡBT4, indicating a flameproof enclosure suitable for environments containing IIB class explosive gases (such as ethylene) and designed to withstand surface temperatures not exceeding 135°C (T4 rating).
